This outdoor access point, from Teletronics' EZPlatform™ AP/Hotspot/Repeater is designed for high-power environments that require long range, or high power to overcome obstacles, other Wi-Fi devices, or cover a large area.  This AP can be configured as a main broadcasting access point, or as a repeater to extend the range in areas such as campgrounds, marinas, RV parks, or motel/hotel setups.

The simplicity of use of the EZPlatform™ allows operators to quickly bring service to their customers, and with its two serial ports and two Ethernet ports the unit can easily incorporate GPS, GPRS, RFID, VoIP, surveillance cameras, field meters, motion sensors and data networks for multiple industrial and commercial applications. The EZPlatform™ is available in single or dual radio configuration, with 1 W (2.4 GHz) and 600 mW (2.4/5.8 GHz) radio card options.

The 802.11b/g, High-Power bridge is designed for outdoor all-weather deployment and offers a robust weatherproof case that can protect itself against rain, wind, and snow. For added security and privacy, the access point has integrated WPA, WPA2, 64/128 bit WEP data security, unlimited MACs, and Web and SNMP Management.   The included power-over-Ethernet injector, will allow you to mount the AP up to 300ft. away from your network, for ease of installation.
