This Outdoor 15db Integrated Access Point can be mounted outdoors, and can be powered through the integrated Power-over-Ethernet adapter that comes with the unit.  This means that this access point can be placed up to 300ft. away from your network, with only a single cat5 cable connecting to it.  This makes your network Installation easier to install and maintain. Each Access Point will be configured as a Bridge, and will only communicate with each other.  This means a safer, and more secure network connection for your LAN.

Log into the outdoor unit via a cat5 cable, configure the settings to best suit your network, and your ready for installation.  Simply mount the enclosure outside in the direction of your remote location, connect the cat5 network cable to your LAN, and your ready for connectivity.

When connecting the Outdoor Cat5 Ethernet cable to the access point, the below image will illustrate how to feed the cat5 cable through the weatherproof adapter, and into the Ethernet port on the access point.  Once tightened, this will provide a weatherproof seal for the RJ45 connector.  Please contact us with any questions.
