Please note:  Typical Wireless Range will be dependent on the following:   Transmit Power of your Access Point or Wi Fi Router Outdoor Obstructions (trees, lakes, buildings, RV's, hills, etc.) Type of building material (metal, aluminum, wood, sheetrock) Mounting position of antenna dbi Gain of the outdoor antenna Length of coax cable connected to the antenna Client device receive sensitivity, and transmit power The stronger the transmit power of the Wi Fi access point, the better your wireless signal will carry, and provide a more enjoyable Internet surfing experience for your customers.  The Transmit Power on typical Linksys, Dlink and Belkin Wireless Access Points/Routers,  is usually in the 15dbm range, or 32mW Transmit Power.  This means that connecting a high gain antenna will help your range, but will not provide the increased distance and signal strength that say a 200mW, or even 500mW Access Point will provide.  To get the best range from your outdoor antenna, please ask us about upgrading your Linksys or D-Link Access point to a higher power radio.
