This
12dbi yagi antenna will provide an exceptional
solution for moderate to high gain requirements
at 2.4GHz. This rugged, wide bandwidth
Yagi Antenna will deliver a clean radiation
pattern with a high front to back ratio.
This 2.4GHz Yagi Antenna has a wideband design
to provide full coverage without field tuning,
while the tubular radome reduces wind load and
increases strength in harsh environments.
This is a great solution for customers who have
a Wireless Bridge to implement, and have limited
Line-of-Sight space to contend with.
If
your two locations are more then 3 miles apart,
please ask us about our 15dbi 2.4GHz Yagi
Antenna.
This
will increase your Wi Fi network range,
depending on which wireless access point or Wi
Fi router you connect it to. Contact us

Please note:
Typical
Wireless Range will be dependent on the
following:
| |
- Transmit Power of your
Access Point or Wi Fi Router
- Outdoor Obstructions
(trees, lakes, buildings,
RV's, hills, etc.)
- Type of building
material (metal, aluminum,
wood, sheetrock)
- Mounting position of
antenna
- dbi Gain of the outdoor
antenna
- Length of coax cable
connected to the antenna
- Client device receive
sensitivity, and transmit
power
|
The stronger the transmit power of the
access point, the better your wireless
signal will carry, and provide a more
enjoyable Internet surfing experience
for your customers. The Transmit
Power on typical Linksys, Dlink and
Belkin Wireless Access Points/Routers,
is usually in the 15dbm range, or 32mW
Transmit Power. This means that
connecting a high gain antenna will help
your range, but will not provide the
increased distance and signal strength
that say a 200mW, or even 500mW Access
Point will provide. To get the
best range from your outdoor antenna,
please ask us about upgrading your
Linksys or D-Link Wi Fi Access Point.
