The 5GHz Shock-WAV™ Signal Booster series is designed for outdoor use. It utilizes a sealed enclosure that connects to power via coax cable, allowing for a direct connection to antennas with virtually no signal loss between the Wi-Fi Signal Booster and the antenna. The Shock-WAV™ outdoor Wi-Fi Signal Booster comes complete with a coax power injector (not shown) that can be placed in an enclosure or indoors at a safe distance away from the signal booster.

Designed for extending the range of 5.4 to 5.8 GHz wireless radio devices, the network amplifier is particularly effective when used with Direct Sequence or Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum radio modems. The unit provides the transmit power increase as well as receive signal gain increase. Also available  in a 500mW version.
