This package comes with 25 feet of extension cable in order to
mount the antennas high enough in order to establish a reliable
connection. Longer cable is possible but not recommended due to
the loss that coax cable carries.
Mount this 9dbi omni antenna on the roof or side of a building
and see your results in wireless coverage increase. If you
are connecting to a laptop user outdoors, then you will most
likely need an upgraded PCMCIA card on your laptop.
This Wireless package works great for start-up WISP's,
RV-parks, Marina's, residential hotspots,
and Campgrounds.

When using outdoor antenna installations, it
is always possible that an antenna will suffer damage from
potential charges developing on the antenna and cable, or surges
induced from nearby lightning strikes.

protection to 2.4 GHz radio equipment from static electricity
and lightning-induced surges that travel on coaxial
transmission lines. This system needs to be
properly grounded as identified in the hardware installation

Note: These antennas
require Line-of-Sight to each other in order to establish a
secure, reliable connection. If you have LOS issues, then check
out our NLOS (Non Line-of-Sight)
packages.
