Please Note:
This
Mesh Access Point can be configured as a
2.4GHz, 5GHz, or 900MHz frequency which must
be specified prior to ordering.
The single radio or dual radio 8200 Mesh Router
creates a self-configuring and self-healing
wireless mesh network over Single or Dual 5 GHz,
4.9 GHz, 2.4 GHz, or 900MHz spectrums. The Dual
mesh configuration achieves the highest
throughput and lowest latency across multiple
hops. The 8200 Dual is a “third generation”
mesh, where multiple non-interfering radios are
used to create a clear pathway to every point in
the mesh. When correctly provisioned, the
maximum 802.11n transmission rate of 300 Mbps is
maintained from end to end.
The SuperMesh 8200 is a high-powered dual
300-700mWatt outdoor router with weatherized
Ethernet and power-out connectors for
co-locating client Access Points, security
devices, or other network hardware on the pole.
A single PoE connection powers both the mesh and
attached AP. Multiple SuperMesh's automatically
create a wireless network that is reliable,
efficient, and responsive to environmental
changes, reducing support calls and onsite
visits.
Extended
Network Range - Benefit of High RF Output
Better signal strength and
throughput will result from using 500mW outdoor
Access Point, with less then 5ft. coax cable to
your antenna. This will allow a bigger and
better safety margin against interference, and
will allow more flexibility in placement of your
outdoor access point. Reach more clients,
with less equipment.
