The 27dBi Grid antenna is a eflector grid Wi-Fi
Antenna that provides 26.5 dBi gain for
long-range highly directional applications.
Recommended applications include point to point
systems, point to multi-point and wireless
bridges in the 2.4 GHz - 2.5 GHz band as well as
IEEE 802.11b and 802.11g. It can be installed
for either vertical or horizontal polarization.
This 27dBi grid antenna features a die cast
aluminum reflector grid for increased strength
and is light weight. The antenna's 4-piece
reflector grid is simple to assemble and
significantly reduces shipping costs and
installation time.

The stronger the transmit power of the
Wi-Fi access point, the better your wireless
signal will carry, and provide a more
enjoyable Internet surfing experience
for your customers. The Transmit
Power on typical Linksys, Dlink and
Belkin Wireless Access Points/Routers,
is usually in the 15dbm range, or 32mW
Transmit Power. This means that
connecting a high gain antenna will help
your range, but will not provide the
increased distance and signal strength
that say a 200mW, or even 500mW Access
Point will provide. To get the
best range from your outdoor antenna,
please ask us about upgrading your
Linksys or D-Link Access point to a
higher power radio.
