The use of the 60 GHz band also means that interference from other wireless networks is minimized, resulting in reliable and secure connectivity.  Clear, un-obstructed line of sight is required.  Although 60 GHz is superior for point to point backhauls, and high throughput connectivity, LOS is highly recommended.
