The Proxim GX60-6019X-US combines high-capacity 60 GHz wireless performance with an exceptionally compact outdoor form factor. Designed for both point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) networks, the GX60 provides a flexible way to extend high-speed Ethernet connectivity without trenching or running fiber between network locations.

High-Capacity 60 GHz Connectivity Without Running Fiber
The Proxim GX60 provides a flexible way to extend high-speed Ethernet connectivity between buildings, poles and remote network locations without the time and expense associated with trenching new cable.
Its use of the 60 GHz spectrum is particularly useful in environments where conventional 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies are already busy. Backhaul traffic can operate separately from the frequencies typically serving Wi-Fi clients.
The same GX60 hardware can operate as either an Access Point or Station, allowing it to support both dedicated point-to-point connections and larger point-to-multipoint network designs.

One of the GX60’s biggest advantages is its physical size. Measuring approximately 5 × 5 × 2 inches and weighing less than one pound, the GX60 is exceptionally compact for a multi-gigabit outdoor backhaul radio.
Its integrated phased-array antenna can also eliminate the need for a separate sector antenna in many applications, resulting in a cleaner installation with less equipment mounted on the pole or structure.
Integrated 90° Beamforming Antenna
The GX60-6019X-US incorporates a 16 dBi 3D beamforming phased-array antenna directly into the compact radio enclosure.

This wide electronically controlled coverage is especially useful for point-to-multipoint installations because multiple Station radios can communicate with a central Access Point across the coverage sector.

2.5 Gigabit Ethernet + PoE Output
The GX60 includes a 2.5 GbE RJ45 Ethernet interface with 802.3at PoE input, providing a wired interface capable of supporting its high wireless capacity.
A secondary 1 GbE Ethernet interface provides 48VDC PoE output up to 0.5A. This can simplify installations where compatible network equipment is installed alongside the GX60 on the same pole or structure.
