Cambium PTP 650 backhaul links are available in Integrated and Connectorized versions.  Each cambium PTP 650 radio supports multi-band functionality operating between 4.9 and 6.05 GHz radio frequencies, using channel bandwidths ranging from 5 MHz to 45 MHz (where local regulations allow).  The Integrated antenna models have a built-in, high-performance, 23dBi directional antenna. Connectorized models can be fitted with separately-purchased, external antennas, including up to 8-foot dishes and spatially diverse configurations. These PTP 650 radios deliver superior performance over long distances and in extremely difficult environments, including near- and non-line-of-sight scenarios.

Cambium PTP 650 wireless backhauls offer a wide range of point to point solutions to address an array of radio frequencies, applications, environments, infrastructures, and budgets. These radios are built to last with a combined total of more than 5 billion field hours in operation.  Use the Cambium PTP650 for cellular backhaul applications where high throughput and high reliability is required.

Cambium Networks’ Point-to-Point (PTP) radio solutions provide award-winning network performance in licensed, unlicensed, and defined-use frequency bands. These include specific FIPS 140-2 solutions for the U.S. Federal market. Based on breakthrough Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology, Cambium Networks’ PTP solutions deliver exceptional near-Line-of-Sight (nLOS) and Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) coverage in locations where foliage, tall buildings, or other obstructions limit wireless broadband access.

Cambium PTP 650 radios are ruggedized for 99.999% reliability to deliver exceptional performance at the most extreme temperatures and under the most difficult weather conditions. These point to point wireless links deliver the speeds to support today’s high throughput requirements, including high-speed residential and business access, with the ability to stream voice, video and data over the same link.

Reliable, high-capacity, point-to-point wireless broadband
Cambium Networks leads the wireless industry in spectral efficiency and performance with the Point-to-Point  PTP 650 wireless backhaul. With up to 450 Mbps aggregate throughput in a 45 MHz channel, and operating from 4.9 to 6.05 GHz, Cambium PTP 650 systems let you reliably and securely handle today’s needs with scalability to meet future requirements.
Dynamic Spectrum Optimization
(DSO) is a unique capability offered by Cambium Networks that enables a wireless bridge to automatically test and change channels to avoid interference to optimize the link performance without disturbing link service.  Full details on DSO are in the PTP White Paper.

Point to Point Wireless Backhaul

Whether your business is an enterprise, government agency, or service provider, Cambium PTP 650 systems are ideal solutions for a wide array of applications such as T1/E1 and fiber replacements or extensions; video surveillance backhaul; LTE, macro-cell, and small-cell backhaul; last-mile access; disaster recovery; network redundancy; and building-to-building campus connectivity.

PTP 650 systems are designed and engineered with the same industry-vetted, field-proven Cambium technology that made our PTP 600 solution the best in its class. In the PTP 650, we elevated that technology to present our latest best-in-class solution. The result is that the PTP 650 delivers unsurpassed performance in its category.   For more information on Cambium point to point 650 solutions, please contact GNS Wireless at 877-209-5152.
PTP 650 Tiered Capacity upgrades
The PTP 650 Cambium radios ship default with 125Mbps aggregate throughput.  To increase the speed of the PTP 650 point to point link, a software upgrade is available of 250Mbps, and 450Mbps.  Both options require no additional hardware.  After the purchase of the software license, you will receive an email from Cambium with the license key.  Enter this key into the web configuration of each of your PTP 650 radios, which will unlock the tiered capacity upgrade, and increase the speed of the point to point link.  For more information please contact GNS Wireless at 877-209-5152 or email us at support@gnswireless.com
