This 2.4GHz Omni Antenna is ideal for Indoor Wireless Hotspot Setups.  Its compact design makes it easy to mount anywhere in your Wireless Setup. Recommended for ceiling mount Wireless Applications, the 4dBi omni antenna can be mounted in the ceiling of your location, while provided maximum wireless coverage to a direct area below the antenna.

To get your Access Point as close as possible to this ceiling mount antenna, please use a Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), compatable Access Point.
 

Please note:  Typical Wireless Range will be dependent on the following:

The stronger the transmit power of the access point, the better your wireless signal will carry, and provide a more enjoyable Internet surfing experience for your customers.  The Transmit Power on typical Linksys, Dlink and Belkin Wireless Access Points/Routers,  is usually in the 15dbm range, or 32mW Transmit Power.  This means that connecting a high gain antenna will help your range, but will not provide the increased distance and signal strength that say a 200mW, or even 500mW Access Point will provide.  To get the best range from your outdoor antenna, please ask us about upgrading your Linksys or D-Link Access point.
