2.4 GHz Omni-Directional Antenna from GNS Wireless

High gain omni-directional antennas will broadcast a signal in all directions, 360 degrees.  These are the most popular types of wiireless antennas, and come stock on almost any router or access point you purchase.  Those small, black, plastic antennas that are included on the back of your router, are indeed an omni directional antenna, called dipole antennas.  The benefit is that you broadcast the wi-fi signal everywhere.  The downside is that the higher the gain, the flatter the coverage.
