GNS-1163AC is a complete PTP wireless link, operating at 802.11AC speeds for reliable wireless connection between your two locations.

The High-Capacity 802.11AC Wireless Bridge will allow you to connect 2 buildings up to 1/4 mile (or more) apart. Unobstructed Line of sight is recommended to make use of the 80MHz channel width.  Use these antennas as a temporary fix to connect two locations, or use it as a permanent connection.

The antennas on this building to building wireless bridge kit are installed outdoors, and feature an ultra-slim form factor, at only 1″ thick! They will support speeds up to 500Mbps at 80MHz channel width, multi-frequency to avoid interference, and high packet per second processing for video and voice support.  This wireless bridge has integrated surge protection and gigabit POE injectors included.  The tiny 15dBi gain integrated antenna is barely noticeable when mounted on a wall or mast.  Easy installation and with an all plastic design, there is no risk of rusting.  Easily paint them to match your siding, or wall color.

The GNS-1163AC Ethernet bridge package features a narrow outdoor antenna which makes for a less obvious installation.  These antennas are ideal for residential installations where the smaller, is better.  Mounting on a side of homes and offices are now more easily installed and less visible to the end user.  Mount the antenna higher up on the pole, reducing antenna weight.  The new antenna enclosure is all plastic design, with no metal parts making it lighter and corrosion resistant.

Wireless Bridge Installation:

This 802.11AC wireless bridge ships pre-configured for plug-n-play installation. No configuration is required. Web based management allows for adjustment of TX/RX power, Security type, signal strength/signal noise reading, and real time throughput estimates. POE, PS, and pole mount hardware is included in the antenna package. Any 1-1.5″ diameter mast/pole, will allow you to mount the antennas. If you require additional mounting hardware, please let us know.  Each antenna will ship with a default IP address for web based management.  Using any internet browser, you can log in to see the configuration and performance of the link.  The adjustable mounting bracket allows for fast, easy installation onto a pole, or flat wall surface using the GNS-1433 recommended mount.

Wireless Bridge Connection:

Installation is simple. Connect each outdoor radio to the included indoor PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) injector using a single Cat5e Ethernet cable. GNS Wireless includes a 50-foot Ethernet cable for each side of the link, and you can extend cable runs up to 250 feet when needed.

The Ethernet cable passes through a weatherproof cable gland on the outdoor radio and connects directly to the PoE injector indoors. The injector powers the radio through the Ethernet cable while also providing a network connection to your router, switch, computer, or existing LAN. Simply plug the injector into a standard 120VAC outlet and you’re ready to go.

PTP Maximum Range:

When clear, unobstructed line of sight is available, this GNS-1163AC wireless bridge package has the ability to transmit up to 1 mile distance.  For best results, we recommend no more than 1/4 mile distance.  If you have a shorter distance, with trees or other obstructions in the way, this wireless bridge kit will still operate effectively, although we would recommend your range to be less than 500ft.  (density of trees will reduce throughput speed).  For shorter distances of less than 500ft., this 802.11AC wireless bridge can penetrate brick walls and still maintain a usable connection.   Ideally, please try to mount the antennas outdoors for best results.  For longer range up to 1 mile, use the GNS-1153AC.  For higher speed, and longer distance, use the GNS-1155AC.

Wireless Bridge Encryption:

This Point-to-Point WiFi Extender kit uses MAC filtering and WPA2 encryption for security, while the antennas focus the signal into a tight 15-degree beamwidth for improved performance and reduced interference.
